Certification

Ancora was one of the very first Greek shipping companies to receive ISM Code and ISO 9002 accreditation from Lloyds Register.

In accordance with the IMO’s International Safety Management Code, Ancora has developed an Integrated Management System (IMS) which was incorporated in the ISO 9001 Quality System. The IMS is designed to ensure that Ancora’s activities are sufficiently controlled to protect personnel, property and environment from all risks and hazards that can be reasonably foreseen.

Furthermore, Ancora is certified according to ISO 14001 in order to monitor its activities and reduce the impacts these may have against the Environment.
